Simple Future Tense is a form of verbs that are used to discuss the things that are yet to happen.

The method of constructing a sentence which includes “going to” is commonly used in speeches along with writing casual notes. However this is required to remember that despite these being the informal type it is better to carry on with the will +[root form] for the construction of a formal sentence.

The Formula for making Simple Future Negative is will + not + [root form].

Example 

Shane will not quit before he reaches his goal. The bus will not wait for you so please be on time. I will not say anything about my job. I will not allow this in the workplace.

In order to make a sentence that includes “going to”, the formula needs to be “[am/is/are] + not + going to + [root form]”

Example

Shane is not going to stop until the fight ends. The bus is not going to wait for anyone so please be on time. I am not going to say anything about my work. He is not going to finish the work on time. 

Asking a Question

In order to ask a question in Simple Future the formula that needs to be used is will + [subject] + [root form].

Example

Will John finish War and Peace over the summer? Will I have the discipline to study German every day? What will you buy with the money that you found today?

In order to use the “going to” construction the formulae that is required “[am/is/are] + [subject] + going to + [root form]”.
